Akbar (AH 963-1014 / 1556-1605 AD), Silver Rupee, 11.36Grms, Dewal Bandar Mint, Ilahi type, Month Di, Year 4X, This mint is located in the province of Sind (near Karachi) and was an old river port. The mint of Dewal Bandar or Dewal as it was first read was published in a paper called "Some Novelties in Mughal Coins' published in the Numismatic Chronicle in 1896. (KM # 93.9).
